In the morning mist sits over the river and the ferry slides silently through the frame. The cabin stands so close to the water that the terrace almost reaches into it.

The Main is broad and calm here, with meadows on the far bank and hills behind them. No jetty, no noise — just grasses moving, and eventually the ferry.
Inside, birch plywood right up to the ceiling, a black worktop, the bathroom behind a sliding door. Everything in a small footprint, and none of it makeshift.
The barrel sauna sits a few steps further along the bank. Its round window takes up the entire end wall and shows exactly one thing: open water.
